The laver spire snail, “the Tiny”

This little snail is one of the smallest in the Baltic Sea. Its shell reaches only 3 mm in height. The shell is twisted in a fancy way. This snail's mouth is white and often has two spots at the front of it. The rest of its mouth is covered in black spots.

“The Tiny” lives near bays, it likes a shallow seabed with the depth of up to 10 metres, but sometimes it shows up even in the depths of 30 metres.

It’s a very strong little animal - it sustains even the lack of oxygen.
