Art workshop, Kordegarda Gallery, Warsaw, Poland

A workshop for children aged 5-10. The participants learned more about some animals: they explored the creatures’ looks, food and habits. Poems about animals of the Baltic Sea, written by a Balticarium Friend – Elżbieta Krystek-Jones, were read aloud during the workshop. The descriptions of the animals inspired the children to create their own creatures of the Baltic Sea.

Natalia Uryniuk for the first time inher life had the opportunity to give a lecture and workshop for sixty graphic students at one of China's best art schools: Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
It was a great experience for her! During the lecture she showed her illustrations among others from the Balticarium project and she talked about the work of the illustrator. The topic of the workshop was the creation of socio-ecological posters about microplastics. Students were very involved and made interesting interpretations of the topic. Natalia had the opportunity to meet wonderful professors and I hope that this will result in the cooperation between universities.
